Hans Fuchs discovered his passion for skiing at an early age. “Hansi” spent almost every spare minute with his siblings on the tow lift behind the house.
As a student, he took part in the first races and quickly celebrated successes.
After school, he began a three-year apprenticeship as a retail clerk, which he successfully completed. After that, he was still active as a racer for some time.
After his apprenticeship, he moved to Scheffau, where he worked for several years as an employee in a sports shop. He turned his passion into a profession.
In 1984, the time had come. Hans opened his own sports shop at the gondola station in Scheffau.
In 1988, Steffi Graf visited us in the shop.
After more than 35 years in winter sports, the time has finally come: Hansis Sport- und Mietcenter opens all year round and now also offers a professional rental service for state-of-the-art e-bikes. In addition, the sportswear segment will be significantly expanded. Summer may come!
